Students will need access to email in order to view and prepare for lessons. Google Classroom is utilized to assign reading and other activities. As this is an intermediate/advanced class, lessons are built around a brief news article or other passage regarding current events. Discussion prompts are designed to guide the conversations. Supplement work and worksheets will be utilized to strengthen the grammar, usage, and mechanics of the English language. Vocabulary is highlighted and defined based on the articles read and student’s submissions from their daily lives.
