This program assists students in reading, writing, speaking and listening in English. Instruction is designed to meet learners’ needs and can include preparation for the citizenship test upon request. Rolling admission. Students must meet with ABE Coordinator for registration and testing. This class will run either in-person or on-line per CDC guidance. The days and times will be the same. No classes 10/12 and 11/11.

Students can develop skills necessary to be able to train for new job skills, or transition to college-level courses. Our experienced instructors appreciate ethnic diversity, and cultivate multicultural exchanges in the classrooms. Similar to the GED®, the HiSET® exam measures learning developed through life experiences in areas of Reading, Science, Social Studies, Math and Writing. Preparation classes, predictor tests and exams are free. Must be seventeen or older. Accommodations are available for persons with documented disabilities per Americans with Disabilities Act.  Call us at 375-6605 for more information or to start working toward a HiSET credential.
