English Language Learners (ELL) Day Level A

These classes provide a wide variety of educational options needed to learn English. Students can develop skills necessary to train for new jobs, or transition to college-level courses. Our experienced instructors appreciate ethnic diversity, and cultivate multicultural exchanges in the classrooms. The tuition-free program invites students who may have never been to school, or who may have some high school level education or less.

Burlington English ELL

Burlington English is an online program that focuses on instructor for English Language Learners in four skill areas: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Students can access Burlington English any time for interactive English courses.

NorthStar Digital Literacy

NorthStar Digital Literacy helps build basic skills need to perform tasks on computers and online. The course is set up in three modules: essential computer skills, software skills and using technology in daily life.

ELL Beginner
with Elizabeth DiLalla, RSU #13 Adult and Community Education

English Beginner class designed for English Language Learners at the beginning level, with a focus on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and life skills. Students will have the opportunity to practice listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in this class.
In-person at McLain School Wednesdays 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
ELL Intermediate to Advanced Conversation
with Elizabeth DiLalla, RSU #13 Adult and Community Education

Class In this class for intermediate to advanced English speakers (CASAS Level B and up) we discuss current events, holidays, and American culture. Practice your listening, reading, speaking and pronunciation skills.
In-person at McLain School or remotely via video conference.
