Our experienced instructors appreciate ethnic diversity, and cultivate multicultural exchanges in the classrooms. Beginning ESOL Literacy I

For newcomers to the U.S. who want to learn basic communication, beginning reading, writing and technology skills.  Students at this level will identify the sounds and letters of English and learn basic sight words with a lot of visual support and repetition.  Online practice outside of class is required. Participants may join the class at any time.

Learn to participate in conversations with confidence. Follow simple instructions to use technology. Fill out medical forms and job applications. Write messages and notes.  Use reading strategies to move away from translating material and to handle higher-level jobs.  Students should expect to have homework to prepare for classes.   • Math and ELA instruction to prepare you for college-level coursework
  • Workforce credential or certification tutoring and prep
  • General English and math tutoring
  • College and Career advising
