Have you wondered how to preserve your memories in a creative way and rewarding way? Do you want to get your photos off your phone so they can be appreciated? Not sure where or how to start? All you have to do is bring 3-6 printed photos and a taperunner and Verna will guide you in creating a beautiful scrapbook page with a fun border. Turn your memories into a work of art! Cookie Decorating w/ Baked by Cam

Come learn how to decorate sugar cookies with me! Because of the demand and popularity of the decorated sugar cookies I have decided to teach a beginners class on how to decorate. I will provide 6 cookies and royal icing for decorating. Each month will have a different theme that I have preplanned. This is a beginners class so everyone is welcome! Instructor: Casey Marsh - Casey fell in love with baking years ago while baking annual Christmas cookies with her mother and grandmother. She has always been a creative and artistic person (who also LOVES to feed people) so it only made sense that she start a business doing just that! She is a fully licensed home baker. She completed the baking and pastry associates program at York County Community College, but the majority of her skills are self taught.
Stretch and Tone Session 2

(running for 7+ years)-This course is a low-impact, full-body workout to help tone muscles, increase range of motion, mobility and flexibility and help reduce stress. You will move through a series of stretching and toning exercises that will elongate and strengthen muscles. No experience is necessary. Bring a mat for floorwork and light hand-held weights or 2 filled up water bottles to use during the toning section.

Newport Mansion Trip

Back by popular demand, the Newport trip will be from May 22 to 23. We leave Wells at 7:30 a.m. We arrive in Bristol Rhode Island for the Blithewold Manor where we will have a tour of the home and gardens, we will be having lunch there as well. We then head into the town of Bristol for a tour of the home of Ethel Barrymore of stage and screen. We then head into Middletown Rhode Island where we will be spending the night. After checking in, we will gather for dinner. The next day we are on our way to tour 3 of the Newport mansions, before we return to Wells. The price of the trip is $395.00 per person per double occupancy which includes entrance into 5 historic homes, two lunches, dinner, hotel and breakfast. We will return to Wells by 6:00p.m. This trip is limited to 7 people. A reservation by April 1st is necessary to book your place on the trip.

Nordic Walking

Walking with poles (snowshoes + poles with snow) burns 20-40% more calories than regular walking, develops upper body strength, increases safety with upright stability, while reducing impact on lower body joints. And Nordic Walking enhances mood and is a fun and social way to enjoy the outdoors year-round. Suitable for the beginner exerciser to the active athlete. Wear comfortable footwear and dress for outdoor seasonal weather. Bring your own walking poles (will need an asphalt rubber tip) or instructor-provided poles available: $9 lab fee payable at first class
Restorative Yoga
with Barbara E. McGranahan, Wells-Ogunquit Adult Community Education
Restorative Yoga is a practice of conscious relaxation, using props in every posture to support your muscles in gentle, comfortable positions. There are NO Downward Facing Dog and Cobra that are the keystones of other popular yoga styles. Basic relaxation is the mainstay of a restorative yoga practice. Poses include gentle supine twists, supported forward folds, gentle reclining backbends and hip openers. The poses are held for anywhere from 3 to 30 min giving your body plenty of time to relax so that your mind can enter a quiet, meditative state. NO YOGA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Destress before your weekend activities. Blocks and bolsters provided. Please bring a mat, blankets and any other props.
