This intermediate class will explore the vast variety of yoga poses based in Anusara yoga. Anusara is a modern form of Hatha yoga that is heart-focused and alignment-based. Hatha yoga means the yoga of force. Please bring a mat, block, strap and blanket to class.

Interest in Meditation & Mindfulness is on the rise. Are YOU interested in learning HOW to meditate and cultivate more EASE into your life? Meditation is an ancient wellness practice that focuses on training awareness, attention, and compassion. Research has found that meditation can reduce stress and anxiety, improve focus and concentration, and increase feelings of calm and relaxation. The good news is anyone can do it. It's a simple practice to pick up - but, it does take practice & consistency to feel the benefits.

Robin's Zumba® classes have been running strong for over 13 years through the Wells Ogunquit Adult Ed. Zumba® is dance exercise for people who don't consider themselves dancers but love to dance. The hour flies by and you will get a great workout. Robin uses fun, high energy music and the moves are basic and repeated enough times so that you really know them. Plus one of the best things about Zumba® is the emphasis on modifying the moves to make them your own. Questions about the class? Drawing Basics S2

This course is appropriate for beginners through experienced students. Learn drawing basics such as the use of value to create form, perspective, composition, and drawing from life and imagination. The instructor will individualize instruction to meet the needs of each student. Please bring the following materials to class: 8X10 (or larger) drawing pad with a spiral binding, HB or #2 pencil, Willow medium charcoal, kneaded eraser, and a handheld pencil sharpener.

PHOTO 101: Beginning Digital Photography

You will learn how to take a photograph by understanding and practicing the controls of your camera. Learn composition and design and then download and edit your photos making them ready for distribution. Please bring your camera, manual and full battery.
INSTRUCTOR: Geri Lynn Smith is an award winning photographer shoot ing in the New England area. She shares her knowledge from personal experience through practical application and entertaining anecdotes.
WATERCOLOR S2 Intermediate

Learn and practice a variety of techniques and approaches specific to watercolor painting. Whether a beginner or experienced, enjoy a relaxing and supportive environment to paint from references, still life objects and observation. You will receive feedback and see what others are working on. Bring ideas for projects to class for instruction tailored to your needs, or participate in guided exercises to gain a deeper understanding of this medium. You may bring your own supplies, if you prefer to purchase your own supplies, please request a materials list at registration.

Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention, Extension Movements

AN EMPOWERING PROGRAM GREAT FOR BEGINNERS!
Dr. Paul Lam combines his medical and Tai Chi expertise to create a very therapeutic tool with this short program. It is an easy program that anyone can learn. It was designed to help folks recover from stress, tiredness, injury, surgical procedures, and stroke, while improving balance, focus, and coordination. Self-management is the most empowering way to take control of your health and wellness. This rehabilitation program is a great start!

Loose, comfortable clothing and flat-bottom shoes suitable for exercise are recommended.
You can learn this program seated or standing.
