Who doesn’t love a gnome? Make three cards with gnomes used to communicate your message in three unique ways: a crossover fun fold, a dancing gnome (this technique will work for other stamps and dies), and a pop-up gnome. WATERCOLOR S2 Intermediate

Learn and practice a variety of techniques and approaches specific to watercolor painting. Whether a beginner or experienced, enjoy a relaxing and supportive environment to paint from references, still life objects and observation. You will receive feedback and see what others are working on. Bring ideas for projects to class for instruction tailored to your needs, or participate in guided exercises to gain a deeper understanding of this medium. You may bring your own supplies, if you prefer to purchase your own supplies, please request a materials list at registration.

BOATING: SUDDENLY IN CHARGE

This Course is designed to teach passengers what to do if the boat operator becomes injured, unconscious, or unable to operate the vessel. A hands-on safety course that prepares you to take control of the boat in an emergency – even if you have never driven one before. Maine Driving Dynamics
with Maine Bureau of Highway Safety, Wells-Ogunquit Adult Community Education
You can improve your defensive driving abilities. Learn collision avoidance techniques, safety issues, driver habits and attitudes, and the basic elements that challenge Maine drivers. If you complete the course, you will receive a 3-point credit on your license. Sorry, online registration is not available for this class. Please provide your date of birth and license number when you call to register at 646-4565, or write it on your registration form if mailing. Kelley is an experienced Disney traveler and can provide you with tips and tricks you usually only hear after your trip.

TRIP TO LINCOLN NH AND DINNER TRAIN RIDE LINCOLN, NEW HAMPSHIRE

This is an overnight trip to Lincoln, New Hampshire. We will leave The Wells High School at 1 PM on May 28th. We will go directly to the Indian Head Resort to check in, we will then leave for the LaFayette Dinner train for a 2-hour train ride for a fabulous dinner while riding through the countryside. We then return to the Hotel, breakfast is buffet and included. We then will be leaving for the flume gorge. The flume is a 2 mile loop trail through a granite gorge with waterfalls, and covered bridges. The hike has boardwalks and stairs. You do not have to do the whole walk or feel pressure if you are not up for it, there are places to rest. We will be leaving the gorge after 2 hours, we will stop for a light lunch before we return to Wells High School. Cost of the trip is $385 per person (double occupancy). GUIDE: Lynne Longworth
