A hoop and all needed tools and materials will be provided. Some homework is recommended, but not required, between sessions.
Intro to Weaving
$135
with Margaret B. Russell, Portland Adult Education

Join us for a four-hour visit to the world of handweaving. The class offers the opportunity to weave on a loom that has already been dressed (ready for weaving) for each student. This introduction allows the focus to be on what it feels like and what is seen when you take a shuttle in hand and weave. It is a great class to just try out weaving or for determining whether you want to further explore handweaving. Use of a 4-shaft table loom and weaving tools, plus fibers, are included in the cost. Bring a snack or lunch!
