Looking for in meaningful work? Our community needs individuals who want to make a difference in a child’s life. Children’s Behavioral Health Services are vital to Maine’s children with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health Disorders and their families. And the need in our area is great! As an integral part of the child’s treatment team, a Certified Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) has the opportunity to make an immediate impact while helping a child grow and develop to their full potential. We are excited to connect our community with this wonderful blended training and certificate program. This training will prepare you for employment through local social services agencies and equip you to work with children who qualify for services. The program can be started at any time and finished at your own pace. The deadline for enrollment for this session is 4/15/22. Learners must complete all 12 online modules by midnight on Sunday, May 8th to be eligible to attend the Live Day. Once the modules are completed, you will receive free online bloodborne pathogen training. Child and Adult First Aid & CPR certification is required and offered for free on May 11 sign up here. In just 40 hours, our free remote training program can get you certified and on your way to a life-changing profession. Must be a Maine resident, and at least 18 years old with a high school diploma (or equivalent) to become certified.

This state-certified nursing assistant course includes classroom time, lab time and clinicals and will have you ready to sit for the Maine CNA competency test after 12 weeks of instruction. Dental Assistant

Allinclusive 16week certification course: Medical Assistants are responsible for a variety of medical office tasks from administrative to technical and scientific duties and must have quality human relations skills. Some of the job duties include cleaning and dressing wounds, taking blood samples, administering medications, taking vitals, preparing a patient for EKGs, obtaining a patient’s history, and assisting physicians during examinations. Our program provides virtual reality style classroom work as well as traditional style teaching for a blended learning experience. Practicals are performed during the program to ensure that the student has proper techniques and will be ready to pass the National Certification. Upon completion of the program, you will sit for your CCMA (Clinical Certified Medical Assistant) national certification exams through NHA . $3200 includes national certification, 6 practice exams, online study guide materials, books, resume assistance, and all other associated fees. Externships may be available in your area.
