Join us once a month for lunch in the gym! The Community Cafe is sponsored by Senior Central of the Grateful Undead on the 4th Wednesday of every month, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Parsonsfield Town Hall. Meals are provided by The Carriage House Bistro & Tavern, and the menu will be posted on parsonsfield.org. RSVP is required by the third Friday: call 207-650-6665. Suggested donation for 60+: $8. Cost for under 60: $10.

KNITTING WITH THE “KNOTTY KNITTERS”

The “Knotty Knitters” is a group of fiber enthusiasts with skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced. The members would like to invite new individuals to join. If you’re a novice, instructional support can be arranged. If you’re a pro, this is an opportunity to pass along your knowledge. This group meets year-round except for major holidays.

GRIEVANCE SUPPORT GROUP

The Grievance Support Group meets at the Riverside Methodist Church the third Thursday of each month and is open to anyone who has experienced a loss. Connect with others, learn ways to cope, and receive support with the grieving process. FMI: Call 625-8712 or 625-8269.

CERTIFIED RESIDENTIAL MEDICATION AIDE (CRMA)

This is a 40 hour course with 5 training sessions. The purpose of this course is to provide training for profesionals working in state certified residential care homes. Participants will learn safe medication administartion procedures, Vital signs, transcribing physicians orders, and how to doccument on a MAR (Medication Administration Record) Each participant will be required to complete a clinical Medication Administration in a licensed facility

Driver's Education courses at Camden Hills Regional High School continue, with a new class beginning every month. For the most up-to-date information, please visit www.roysdriving.com.

This course includes:

★ 15 hours of in-person classroom instruction (includes BMV written exam)

★ 15 hours of self-paced online course ($18 fee included in your tuition)

★ 10 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction

Upon satisfactory completion of this course, we will issue a temporary learners permit good for 60 days. Students must obtain their 2-year learners permit from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

 

Roy's Driver & Rider Education is the only driving school in Maine authorized to provide a hybrid Driver's Education experience consisting of 15 hours of in-person classroom instruction paired with 15 hours of self-paced online component classes. The online content provider is OnlineDriversEd.com and they are the only provider authorized by the BMV for this curriculum.
