This is a CNA Class with Classes & Labs Delivered in person.
Clinicals will be held at approved facilities. Exact dates and times will be on the class schedule.
Become a CNA through our training program at Region Two School of Applied Technology & Summit.
Class Times: 8am~1pm (Every other day as per class schedule)
Successful graduates will be certified for employment in state-approved health care institutions through the State of Maine and will be placed on the Maine Board of Nursing Registry.

Information and registration papers are available at our office which is located in the Summit building on 56 Military St. We are in the lower level with the main entrance off the parking lot at the back of the building.
Orientation will be at Adult Ed on 56 Main St. in Houlton, Maine from 9am to 1pm.
CNA Nursing Assistant Med (CNA-Med)

Medications course follows standardized curriculum approved by the Maine State Board of Nursing. The purpose of this course is to teach experienced certified nursing assistants (CNA) to administer selected noninjectable medications to patients who are 4 years of age and older. This standardized medication course will provide the basis of understanding needed for the CNA to administer medications accurately and safely.

Prerequisites: CASAS Reading score 244, worked as a CNA for 1,200 hours within the last 2 years.
Coding Certificate

Coding is becoming one of the most in-demand skills in the workplace today. As a result, coding has become a core skill that bolsters one’s chances of becoming a higher value to organizations. The highest demand is for programming languages with broad applicability. Begin by getting introduced to the basics of computer programming and various programming languages. Then go to the next level and acquire all the basics of HTML and CSS. You will learn the relationship between these two industry-standard web page coding languages and the step-by-step process of hand-coding and building web pages. Finally, discover the advanced features of CSS and learn how to use this very powerful language. Students must take the Coding Certificate classes in the below order:

- HTML Fundamentals
- CSS Fundamentals

College Transitions are programs that allow a student who already possesses a high school diploma to brush up on skills in order to gain entrance into college. If you are having trouble passing college entrance exams, or the college has told you to take adult education classes to bring you up to entrance standards, you need the College Transitions program.
