Job searching? Let’s sharpen your job-related skills! Do you need to create or update your resume, create an email account, learn Microsoft Office basics, or refine your existing skills? Our Career Advisor, Suzette, will work one-on-one with you over six sessions to meet your career-focused computer needs. Work on creating documents appropriate for the workplace and/or the basics of sending and receiving email messages as well as opening and attaching files. Business Skills Certificate

The business skills certificate program provides a package of courses to prepare students for the business skills field. The course includes the following classes: Basic Computer, Internet, Email, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Communication Technology for Business, Google Suites, and Office Skills Orientation.
Certiport® Exam Test Center Fall

MCST Adult Education is an official Certiport® Exam Test Center, proctoring exams for individuals with current and relevant digital skills to obtain credentials for the competitive global workforce. Certification exams include the official Microsoft Office program, the Microsoft Technology Associate program, the Adobe® Certified Associate program, the Adobe® Certified Expert program, the Autodesk® Certified User program, the Intuit® QuickBooks Certified User program and the IC3 Digital Literacy Certification. The proctor fee must be paid at the time of testing here.

CompTIA A+ Certification

This course is designed to prepare participants to take the CompTIA A+ Certification Exam 220-1001 and 220-1002. The CompTIA A+ Certification is useful in obtaining an entry level job in Information Technology. In this course, you will acquire the essential skills and information you will need to install, configure, optimize, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, and perform preventive maintenance on PCs, digital devices, and operating systems. Computer Basics for the Beginner

**Please note the starting date for this course is now: Oct. 4th.** Are you only using your computer to play solitaire? Need to learn to use a computer for a job? Do you want to learn more about using the computer but not sure where to turn? Our Computer Basics for the Beginner class offers a small group setting for personal attention. Some skills covered in class are creating email, using the Internet, and becoming more comfortable with the computer. You can bring your own PC laptop or use one of ours. New this semester, included with the course cost, is an individual tutoring session after the 4 classes have met. At the tutoring session you can work on your own projects and goals.
Computer Essentials - Advanced - Nov.

This class is for students who have completed the ‘Computer Essentials-Basics’ course or have some experience using Word and Excel spreadsheets. Students will learn to work in both Word and Excel to create and merge documents, reports and presentations. Email etiquette and formatting will be covered along with advanced file management and file sharing options. We will set aside time in class to handle student generated topics and questions. This is a Monday evening class.
Students must complete our ‘Computer Essentials-Basics’ course or have experience using Word and Excel spreadsheets.
