Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED
The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course will prepare you to recognize and care for emergencies involving adults, children and infants and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. This course teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age. Students who successfully complete this course will receive an American Red Cross certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
Bloodborne Pathogens Certification/Recertification 11/14

Bloodborne Pathogens Training

The Bloodborne Pathogens Training course teaches participants how to protect themselves and others from exposure to bloodborne pathogens on the job and what to do if an exposure occurs. The course content and activities will prepare participants to make appropriate decisions about preventing bloodborne pathogen disease transmission. The course addresses: What bloodborne pathogens are, how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to help prevent exposure incidents by following work practice controls, using engineering controls and personal protective equipment (PPE), practicing good personal hygiene and properly cleaning and disinfecting equipment and supplies, and how to recognize, report and follow up on employee exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials.
