Planning Your Disney Vacation
with Kelly Monroe, Noble Adult & Community Education
Come to this one-night class to meet Kelly Monroe, owner of "In The Magic Travel" an authorized Disney Vacation Planner. She is a travel agent who specializes in all things Disney! You’ll be given information on resorts, park tickets/ reservations, theme parks and dining.
Kelly is an experienced Disney traveler and can provide you with the tips and tricks you usually only hear about after your trip. She will help you with everything you need to know so you can plan your magical Disney vacation.
A Nature Walk At Thorncrag
with Jeri Maurer, Lewiston Adult Education
Walk on several trails at Thorncrag Nature Sanctuary and learn about its fauna and flora. Attendees should be able to walk for a mile with some of it being uphill. Rain date is May 20th.
Portrait Painting in Acrylic or Oil
with Sophie Roblin, Gorham Adult Education
Practice painting portraits in your choice of acrylic or oil. This class will introduce color theory, color mixing, and the use of color to create a sense of space. We will explore painting from observation and photographs, as well as from color exercises learning from the works of artists past and contemporary. It is recommended that students have taken a portrait or life drawing class previously or are comfortable with their observational drawing skills. Instructor: Sophie Roblin. Materials included. All classes are held at the Art and Nature Center at Tannery Brook.

First Aid Training

The First Aid class includes: medical emergencies, bleeding that you can see, bleeding you cannot see,treatingforshock,andhowand when to call emergency services. Thecoursecostincludesablendof PowerPoint and video, instructor and practical components, and a certificate of completion. This class is taught to the standards established by American Heart Association. The workbook isnot included with this class. If you would like a workbook, please indicateonyourregistration form. Cost is $10 for the book.
