Our community is looking for individuals who want to make a difference in a child’s life.

A Certified Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) makes an impact on a child while helping them learn to grow and develop. This BLENDED training program (online modules and a live, instructor-led, virtual session) will equip you with ways to help children who are in need of services and will also prepare you for employment through local social services agencies.

Work at your own pace completing 12 online modules prior to attending the live sessions, including the new ethics and boundaries training. Once the modules and live sessions are completed, you will receive links to bloodborne pathogen training and Child and Adult First Aid & CPR training. The entire program requirements will take about 45 hours to complete. Individuals must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent to register.

PLEASE NOTE: Virtual BHP Live Day

The following is required to enroll in a Virtual BHP Live Day session: a computer with audio (a headset/earbuds recommended) strong internet connection, Adobe Connect - a link and instructions will be emailed one week prior to class.

I will lead you through several drawing exercises whereby we’ll explore drawing not as a product, but as a creative extension of sensory, intuitive, and responsive experiences. Materials included.

It’s never really possible to have TOO many books, but maybe you don’t have enough shelf space to allow new ones. Drop off your gently loved books for an equal exchange of new gently loved books. Enjoy some hot chocolate. All genres welcome. Leftover books will be donated to a local library.

This is a two-session class, you must be present at both sessions in order to earn the credit. The Maine Driving Dynamics course is a driver improvement course that is aimed to improve a student’s defensive driving awareness and abilities. This five-hour course runs over two evenings and includes discussion of collision avoidance techniques, safety issues, driver habits and attitudes, and the basic elements that constantly challenge drivers on Maine’s highways. Our goal is to save lives, prevent injuries, and reduce vehicle-related crashes. The course may be taken for point reduction only once every 365 days. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a three-point credit on their driving record.

You will learn how to create beautiful, aromatic candles using Balsam Pine decor, your choice of a variety of essential oil blended winter cozy scents, and natural organic soy wax to make unique and charming dough bowl candles.

You will also learn the art of Decoupage, transforming a simple glass jar into a stunningly adorned lantern.

Students will take home beautiful and functional pieces. All Supplies included.
