How to Raise Laying Chickens  2 Weeks  In Person

Do you want to learn how to raise laying chickens from egg to adult? This class will guide you, on the stages of development and what is required to have a successful flock. We will cover nutritional health, animal welfare, and other health components of the chickens.

MaineGeneral's Harm Reduction Program leads training and conversation on Overdose Response and Narcan Administration. The presentation will begin by discussing what harm reduction means, and what opioids are, before identifying what an opioid overdose looks like. The training will then discuss steps for responding to an overdose, and close with a conversation about the Good Samaritan Law. Attendees are invited to ask any questions and/or share experiences throughout.

His piano and guitar seminars, offered through Community Colleges and Community Education Programs, have been attended by over 30,000 students throughout Arizona, Minnesota and the United States over the last 27 years.   He has a degree in Sociology from Illinois Wesleyan University in Illinois (where he also studied piano) and a Master of Divinity degree from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon.

In effect since September 2019, the law permits physicians to practice medical aid-in-dying under specific circumstances.

Join this class to get fact-based information details you need to know about Maine's law, how to have the conversation with your physician, and how to qualify for the law or support your loved one who may be qualifying.  This is a live, online class using ZOOM.

Val believes people need good information to make good decisions. Val has been teaching adults in a variety of military and non-military organizations since 1981.
