Registration for this class is free, meaning there is no fee to sign up for this course.  However, once registered, there is a cost of $3,500 to enroll in the class.  This registration doesn't secure your spot in the class.  Your registration details are necessary for SCAE to forward to American Medical Professionals.  Payments go directly to American Medical Professionals.  They offer multiple payment methods.

After signing up for the class, you'll receive a packet to fill out and send directly to American Medical Professionals.  Once you have filled out the paperwork and the requested information, Academy of Medical Professionals will contact you to complete your registration process.

Become nationally Certified in 10 weeks as a Phlebotomy Technician.  Our all-inclusive course prepares you for National Certification with live classes via Zoom (Tuesdays) and in-person skills labs (Thursdays starting after week 4).  You will be able to perform basic phlebotomy venipuncture procedures, answer patient questions, perform basic point-of-care testing, such as blood glucose levels on patients, and prepare blood, urine, and other body fluid specimens for testing according to established standards. 

$3,500 included Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) National Certification through NHA, books, resumes, and job assistance.

Plastics-while we encounter a variety of these materials throughout the day, we rarely give any thought to history. But in fact, plastics not only possess a history, but that history yields clues as to how they became so ubiquitous in a relatively brief period of time, measured only in decades. This course will offer a history of plastics in a broad context, from the technology to the social impact. It is hoped that you will never look at plastics in quite the same way again.  Learn the basics of coastal navigation using local charts, parallel ruler, and dividers. Learn what the symbols mean, how to determine safe and dangerous routes, create courses, learn rules of the “road”, what aids to navigation look like and do, plan for emergencies and more. For kayakers, sailors, powerboaters, and future Registered Maine Guides.

Students will need access to either a Casco Bay Chart or Penobscot Bay Chart, parallel ruler and dividers.

I am a Master Maine Guide who has been guiding for over 40 years, running my own full year guiding business (Alice's Awesome Adventures), former Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Guides Board Examiner, and 1:1 trainer. Many current Registered Maine Guides trained with me. I  have been a teacher in public education, adult education, online education, and for non-profit organizations since 1968.
