How to Make an Owner's Manual for Your House May W25

All large purchases come with an owner's manual, so what about your house? In this class, we'll learn the steps to create an owner's manual for your house, including the mechanical systems, maintenance schedules, interior & exterior surfaces, etc., all organized into a binder with photos. Learn about your home and how to keep it running in top condition!
Colin McCullough is the owner of All-Around Home Performance, working as an independent energy auditor, and provides the service of creating owner's manuals for houses. Colin lives in Farmingdale in a 1915 house where he is working to make a net-zero energy house, and he is a BPI-certified building science trainer/proctor teaching at SMCC and KVCC.
Landscape Drawing Workshop (ZOOM)

In this landscape drawing workshop, you will learn the basic principles of composition and value by working from a landscape photo. There will also be the opportunity to explore the following techniques in charcoal: cross-hatching, shading and blending, blind contour drawing, and gesture drawing. We will meditate for a few minutes before drawing to help minimize inhibitions and fears associated with the creative process. A supply list will be provided when the class is determined to run. Open to beginners and those with previous drawing experience.

Planning Your Disney Vacation

Kelly is an experienced Disney traveler and can provide you with the tips and tricks you usually only hear about after your trip. She will help you with everything you need to know so you can plan your magical Disney vacation.

Sgraffito Cups

Learn the basics of working with clay and several techniques for creating black and white surface decorations using underglaze. Students will create and decorate a cup or plate to be fired in out kiln. No experience required. Registration includes material fee.
WorkReady SS1-25

WorkReady is a 60-hour, program that develops seven standards associated with soft skills and work readiness. We have partnered with Augusta CareerCenter and the National Retail Foundation to identify and work towards specific workforce pathway components including resume writing, interviewing, and portfolio completion. A Nature Walk At Thorncrag
with Jeri Maurer, Lewiston Adult Education

Walk on several trails at Thorncrag Nature Sanctuary and learn about its fauna and flora. Attendees should be able to walk for a mile with some of it being uphill. Dogs are not allowed. Rain date is May 20th.
