The internet has become such a large part of our daily lives that having a basic understanding of its origins is essential. This course introduces the origins of the internet, how it works and what you can do on the internet.

Together in this 4-part series, we will explore the support offered by hospice, learn strategies to having tough conversations with family and loved ones, explore the many faces of grief from our bereavement team and learn practical steps you can take to prepare for end of life with advance care planning guidance and tools. The tasks can be linked with calendar events, emails and other Google features that really assist with efficiently working through your to-do list, without losing track of what you need to get done. This is an in-peson class; makeup class, if needed, 03/07/24.

Learn the basics of cutting fabric, using a sewing machine, and the stitches available on most machines.

Practice Slow movements to help relieve tension, improve balance, and promote overall fitness. Develop breathing techniques to promote calmness and beneficial energy levels. Sessions are taught separately, with no prior experience required.                                                                    

This 36-hour (GMAW) course is for students with little or no experience in MIG welding. This course will cover shop safety, troubleshooting problems, machine settings, basic metal joints and how to weld them. Safety is covered in the first two sessions. Upon course completion, students may enroll in MIG II or TIG Welding. Students provide their own safety glasses, welding gloves, and reinforced-toe footwear. Please be sure to complete the 2-part form at this link and return it to MCST to complete your registration.
