QiGong: Organ Cleansing Form Section II

$55

with Lisa Bouchard, Old Orchard Beach/Saco Adult and Community Education

Calendar Jun 3, 2024 at 6:30 pm, runs for 5 weeks

Pronounced "chee gong," QiGong is a traditional Chinese form of stress relief that doesn't put undue strain on ligaments, muscles or joints. Discover how to coordinate your breath, use the slow and elegant movements (forms) of the organ cleansing form and stimulate qi (vital energy) in your meridians and different organ systems. Once the forms are learned it takes about 10 minutes to complete this full body tune-up. The practice is ideal for building a sense of profound calm while enhancing your stamina, balance, body awareness and flexibility.

Note: Chairs will be provided for those who have difficulty standing for long periods of time as the moves are easily adapted to the seated position.

Required: Proof of registration, wear loose-fitting clothing and comfortable shoes.

Lisa Bouchard is a licensed acupuncturist and owner of MassageCraft & Acupuncture Clinic. She is a certified instructor of the Wuji Hundun and organ cleansing forms through Community Awake with instructor Francesco Garripoli.
