Intermediate Artist Quality Pastel Painting
with Caroline Kelley, Marshwood Adult & Community Education
In this six-week course, we'll paint, paint, paint using fabulous color, and discuss painting composition, and techniques for both representational and abstract work. We’ll also begin to look at the student’s painting preferences and influences as a means of finding their personal style. We'll use artist-quality materials and techniques that make pastel painting a versatile, accurate, portable, and fun medium to work with. A materials list will be provided prior to the first class for those who wish to source their own materials.
At an intermediate level, the student is strongly encouraged to begin using art supply resources online and in person, however, material packs will be available from the instructor for $40 each at the first class.
