Tracy Noyes, Yoga Alliance Professionals Certified Yoga Instructor invites all interested yoga enthusiasts, those seeking to teach or those looking to deepen their journey, to attend her Coaching Yoga, Coaching Life Certification program. The Coaching Yoga, Coaching Life Certification is built around finding your voice first – as an inspired teacher or as an inspired yogi, encouraging you to step outside of the “box”. Tuition includes 200 hours of classroom instruction covering these topics: Techniques, training and practice; teaching methodology; anatomy and physiology; yoga philosophy, lifestyle and ethics for yoga teachers; practicum, and instructional materials. A to Z Grant Writing is an invigorating and informative course that will equip you with the skills and tools you need to enter the exciting field of grant writing!  You'll learn how to raise needed funds by discovering how and where to look for potential funders who are a good match for your organization.  You'll also learn how to network and develop true partnerships with a variety of funders, how to organize a successful grant-writing campaign, and how to put together a complete proposal package.

Academy of Medical Professions: Group and Personal Fitness (Online Anytime)

This 10 week Group Fitness and/or 10 week Personal Training Certification will provide you national certifications through AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America).  This program is designed to teach you the skills you need to successfully enter these professions on a full-time or part-time basis.  We will help you to change the lives of others while you make money doing what you love.

 

As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will be able to effectively lead any type of group exercise program.  This program, which also includes CPR and First Aid certifications, is the first level of certification you will need order to start your new career.  You can work in any type of fitness facility including:  Assisted living and colleges, even working with children or working with kids involved with sports.  Some types of group fitness include:  Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, boot camp, interval training, step aerobics, water aerobics, Spinning, and more.  As a Personal Trainer, you n choose to work independently with clients for yourself or choose to work at a fitness facility where they provide you the clientele.  If you are looking to change one life at a time and work closely with a client, this is a great career.   Most group exercise instructors are also personal trainers and do a little bit of both to supplement their income.

 

Some of the skills you will need include:  Excellent communication skills, creativity, knowledge of nutrition and fitness do’s and don’ts which are taught in programs like ours.  This is a career that is constantly changing, so continued education will be essential, which can be accomplished by attending conferences, online resources, health and nutrition materials such as magazines, reports, and books.  You will be required to keep up with credits towards your certifications every year.

 

This program will provide you all the skills necessary to start teaching and training, passing the certifications, preparing your resume, and finding work.   Choose to take Personal Training Certification or Group Fitness, or both.

 

If you complete the course with a satisfactory grade, you will receive a Certificate of Completion, a Letter of recommendation, a list of companies in the field with web site addresses and phone numbers, and we would be happy to provide personal references.  Our instructors are professionals in the industry and can offer you the benefit of their knowledge and experience.

A Medical Administrative Assistant is a versatile professional.  The duties that are performed vary not only from office to office but even within the same office.  Medical Administrative Assistants perform routine duties within the offices of many types of health professionals, including physicians, chiropractors, cardiologists and others.  In addition, individuals can accomplish various jobs in the hospital environment, and some are employed by freestanding emergency centers and surgery centers.

 

 

Opportunities for Certified Medical Administrative Assistants are growing because of the constant change within the medical profession and the surge of cross-training, which means that one individual is trained to do a variety of duties.

 

 

Certified Medical Administrative Assistants greet patients as they arrive, obtain basic registration information, assemble patient’s medical records, office accounting, filing, handle all correspondence and scheduling of outpatient procedures, consultations and appointments.  In addition, they must have a basic knowledge of procedure and diagnostic coding, the ability to complete insurance forms and to determine insurance coverage and limitations for the patient.

 

 

This certification program will teach you the practical real-world skills essential for success in the healthcare field.  This completely inclusive course consists of Medical Terminology, Medical Front Office Skills, EHR/EMR for the Medical Office and the Administrative Medical Assistant.  You will learn MedTrak electronic records system used in many medical offices.  In addition, upon completion of all courses, you will sit for your CMAA (Certified Medical Administrative Assistant) Examination and Certified Electronic Health Record Specialist (CEHRS) through the National Health career Association.

This 14-week program prepares you to pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board exam. You will also receive a Certificate of Completion through the Academy of Medical Professions.   This program is active for ONE YEAR from date the of the Student’s activation, this allows our Students the time to successfully complete the program and to review up until the day they sit for the National Certification Exam.

 

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be helping the Licensed Pharmacist with all the necessary day-to-day services that the Pharmacy provides. Everything from preparing medications to answering phones, receiving and verifying prescriptions, counting tablets, taking requests for refilling of medications, and much more.  You are an assistant to the pharmacist.

 

Talk about job security!! This is a growing field with high demand and great salaries.  You can work for places such as:  Pharmacies at Hospitals, Independent Pharmacies, and retail chains like Rite Aid and Wal-Mart and Walgreens.  There are so many possibilities.

 

Excellent communication skills and customer service are essential in this field.  You must have the ability to learn and retain procedural processes and apply them quickly and accurately.  Most places do require flexibility of hours some might ask for:  nights, weekends, or holidays depending on where you work and for whom you work.

 

You will be working one-on-one with a Pharmacy Technician instructor as you go through your weekly assignments.  She is always available and is in constant contact with you as you progress through the program.

While it is true that accounting professionals are scarce, those with corporate accounting experience are even more rare. This course will build on the knowledge you gained in Charlene Messier's online Accounting Fundamentals course (or another introductory accounting course) to provide you with a solid understanding of corporate accounting practices. In Accounting Fundamentals II, you'll explore such topics as special journals, uncollectible accounts receivable, plant assets, depreciation, notes and interest, accrued revenue and expenses, dividends, retained earnings, and various financial reports for corporations. If you're interested in increasing your financial awareness and accountability while also gaining a marketable skill, this is the course for you.
