VIRTUAL English Language Learning Citizenship Preparation Class

This class is designed for someone who is looking to prepare for the United States Citizenship Test.
Practice for your Citizenship interview, review your N-400 form, and study American government and civics in our 8 week Citizenship Prep class.

The Learning Center is open to all adults in need of academic instruction and guidance. Hours vary by day, and we will try to meet you on your schedule. Our staff provides individualized instruction in the areas of:
- High School Equivalency
- HiSET Prep
- Accuplacer Prep
- Math and ELA instruction to prepare you for college-level coursework
- General reading, writing, and math tutoring for anyone pursuing college or career education
- Workforce credential or certification tutoring and prep
- College and Career advising
All services through the Learning Center are FREE of charge. If you or anyone you know could use any of these services, please contact us.

Adult Learning Lab
with Various Staff, Valley Unified Continuing Education
These ongoing classes help students prepare academically for a variety of programming: preparation for the ETS HiSET high school equivalency exam, High School diploma credit courses, family literacy, basic adult literacy in math and reading, workforce training support such as CNA or ServSafe exam preparation, and more depending on individual needs and goals.
Schedules are designed around individual needs and availability. Start times are flexible throughout the year.
- Remote and distance learning options are also available.
- A formal meeting with the Program Director or Program Services Coordinator is required.
- All Academic students must complete orientation paperwork and assessment testing before being assigned to classes.
Becoming a U.S. Citizen
with Sam Smithwick, Biddeford Adult Education
Join with others who are preparing for the citizenship exam. Learn and discuss information about American government, history and your responsibilities as a citizen. Various study methods will be used and practice exams will be given.
Becoming a US Citizen
with Catherine Brewer, Valley Unified Continuing Education
Participants will learn necessary steps toward naturalization and prepare for the Naturalization Interview and Exam.
