Advanced Level ESOL

This free course is designed for students who have some advanced English language skills. Students will practice communication skills in everyday situations and build a larger vocabulary through listening, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar activities. The use of technology will also be integrated. Prerequisite: Completion of Intermediate Level ESOL or appropriate score on CASAS test (221-235+,ESL 6 and above). This class is open enrollment. No class on 11/24.

Civics

Our Civics course is perfect for anyone who would like to study the rights and duties of citizens and the workings of the United States government.  Students study the theoretical, political, and practical aspects of Citizenship, Government, and the History of the United States.  This class will help prepare you for the Citizenship exam.

English Language Learning- Citizenship Preparation Class (Remote)

English Language Conversation for Beginners

Calendar Feb 7, 2022 at 7 pm, runs for 8 weeks

This class is for English language learners who want to improve basic speaking and listening skills.  We will work on vocabulary, pronunciation, comprehension, and conversation.  Classes will include field trips to practice English in community settings.  This is an in-person class; ongoing enrollment. 

No class 2/21/22 or 2/23/22; make-up class, if needed, 4/11/22.
