Pumpkin Printmaking

This class is a fun intro to printmaking, perfect for anyone just starting out or those who just love print making. Follow along and learn how to prepare a design and carve a rubber block. Once the blocks are carved, learn how to ink and print your design. Everyone will create numerous prints and can take home their carved block to use over and over again. Materials fee $10

Dive into the creative world of fabric design and create personalized hand-printed napkins. This beginner-friendly course is designed for those eager to explore the traditional art of block printing combined with the magic of fabric embellishment. Over two engaging sessions, participants will learn the skills needed to hand carve their chosen motifs and transform plain cotton napkins of their color choice into beautiful family heirlooms. A $45 materials fee is due to the instructor immediately following registration and is non-refundable after material orders are placed.

Introduction to Zentangle®

Using the Zentangle motto of “anything is possible one stroke at a time,” you’ll learn simple pen strokes that will open up doors to creative pattern-making for relaxation, creativity, and focus. In this introduction, Irene Burgess, certified Zentangle teacher, will provide you the basics of the method in a stress-reducing atmosphere designed to make you appreciate your own creativity. WHAT IS A MEDICAL CODER?

As a Medical Biller/Coder you are responsible for reviewing the documentation the physicians have provided and assigning the correct diagnosis and procedure codes, entering the necessary information into the patient’s account and submitting the claims to the Insurance Companies.  You are then responsible for tracking and receiving payment from the Insurance Companies and billing the patient when necessary.  You will also be responsible for reviewing any denials and researching to make sure that the claim was submitted correctly the first time.  If any necessary changes can be made, you are responsible for making the changes and following up with the Insurance Companies.

Instant Piano for Hopelessly Busy People on ZOOM

In just a few hours, you can learn enough secrets of the trade to give you years of musical enjoyment. Learn to play piano the way professionals do-using chords. Since this class is being held online with ZOOM, you will be able to sit at your piano or keyboard at home and take this course with no pressure at all. And since this course includes an online book and online follow up video lessons, you will be able to continue your practice and study on your own. An optional periodic online question and answer session is also included. A recording of the class is included as well. The course is partly lecture/demonstration and partly hands on instruction.
