We are limited to 10 students per class.  You will need to bring Aleen's Tacky Glue to class with you.  Everything else is provided.

You can add inserts for each month or holiday to this old Jalopy or leave the back open for some tasty treats.

Join us for a fun evening of tracing a design of your choosing and painting glass to mimic a stain glass window.  We will have dozens of pictures and patterns for you to choose from.  We will be making a 8' by 10' picture frame faux stain glass.  Bring your children, mom, dad, sister, brother and your neighbor for a fun night of making a really great creation.

Do you want to make a Christmas blanket and not sure where to start?  Let us help you!  We have 3 blankets to choose from!  We have Christmas lights, Grinch (his face) and a reindeer head.  Choose which blanket you want to do and we will send you all the information you need to go shopping for your yarn.  

Want to make your own pasta?  Then we have the classes for you!  Join us as Jennifer teaches you how to make your own pasta!  Each class she will teach you something new. 

You can choose to do all of the classes or pick and choose what classes you would like to do.  Each class is $25.  

Jennifer has loved cooking since childhood.  She is 1/2 Italian and grew up in the kitchen.  She loves cooking from scratch and trying new foods. She is a Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist.  She resides in Mapleton with her Husband and has 3 grown children.

Learn to play the ukulele! It has never been more popular and you don't even have to know how to read music! On the uke you can knock out folk music, rock, blues, jazz, pop, country, tunes old and new -- even classical music. Duncan Perry, who has taught more than 700 students of all ages, will introduce you to essential chords and playing techniques using commonly known songs. Oh, and there are lots of laughs along the way. And, learning to play an instrument is good for your brain! You will need a playable ukulele and an electronic tuneror a tuner app. And when folks hear you play this happy instrument, well, they just have tosmile! If you don’t own a ukulele, please contact us for information. What are you waiting for? Grab a uke and get ready for a musical adventure, then spread the joy!

Join me for a day full of creativity and fun while you paint your own 2'x2' barn quilt! The barn quilts created in this class will be painted on a primed wooden signboard with your choice of block quilt design and paint colors. I will guide you through marking your design, taping and painting. Not just for barns anymore, your decorated barn quilt can be hung inside your home as well as outside. You will be provided with instructions on how to seal your board for inside or outside display. All materials will be provided including your 2x2 board, choice of paints and designs, and tape. Please bring an apron/smock and a dish to share for a potluck lunch. Drinks will be provided. Maximum 10 participants.

The MEOC works with adults who are interested in furthering their education. We are able to help individuals explore career options. Depending on the career and path you have chosen, it may be supporting you while you are completing a high school diploma/HiSet, a certificate, or a college degree. We also help you fill out college applications and the FASFA. For others, the focus is on finding the funds available to them through grants and scholarships.

Once you have registered for a session the instructor will contact you.  She will see what your needs are and if you would like to meet in person, over the phone or via zoom.
