with Samantha Jamison, Mid-Maine Regional Adult Community Education

Calendar Apr 26, 2025 at 8 am, runs for 1 week

Join us for an unforgettable experience on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, as we embark on a day trip to Boston to see the musical comedy Book of Mormon for the 2:00 pm showing. We've pre-booked the tickets so that we have a great view of this performance.

The adventure begins with a convenient Cyr motorcoach bus pickup, offering two options: Waterville HS Back Parking Lot or the Gardiner 295 Rest Stop. Relax and enjoy the scenic journey as we make our way to the vibrant city of Boston. Yes, there is a bathroom on board!

Before the show, we'll make a stop at Quincy Market, where you can explore the diverse range of food vendors and choose your own delicious lunch. Take in the lively (often music-filled) atmosphere and perhaps pick up some souvenirs before heading to the show.

We'll arrive to the Citizen's Opera House to enjoy the immersive and entertaining performance of Book of Mormon. Be prepared for a unique blend of music, comedy, and plotline that will leave you in stitches.

Following the show, we'll visit High Street Place food court for you to grab a bite to eat allowing you to unwind and share your favorite moments from the show with fellow travelers.

As the day comes to a close around 6:00 pm, we'll board the Cyr motorcoach for a comfortable journey back to Maine, arriving in West Gardiner Rest Stop at approx. 8:00 pm and Waterville at 8:30 pm.

The all-inclusive ticket price of $210 covers your admission to the Book of Mormon show, as well as round-trip bus fare for a hassle-free and enjoyable day.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to create lasting memories with friends and loved ones! Reserve your seat now for a day filled with entertainment, good food, and great company!

This is a beginner dog training class designed for both the young and the not-so-young. We work in small groups with several trainers assisting. The first night will be an Orientation & Information night, held on Monday, April 7, at the Fairfield Community Center for the two-legged family members only. (Please register only one human per dog; however, two humans may attend with one dog.) You will receive a helpful manual, and many topics will be discussed, including behavior concerns, commands taught (such as walking on a loose leash, stay, and come exercises), and other techniques.

The following four classes will include dogs and owners and will be held at the Fairfield Community Center from 6:00-7:00 p.m. All dogs must be on a leash at all times, and NO dogs will be allowed if they are aggressive.
