The Monday-to-Friday in-office schedules of the past have lost their appeal and utility. Through this course, HR professionals will learn how to support employees and organizations shifting to hybrid work arrangements. One of the most turbulent periods in brain development occurs during adolescence. The teen brain actually functions very differently from the adult brain.  Certain kinds of thinking, such as decision-making, actually happen in different parts of the brain for adolescents and adults.   

Understanding these complex changes can help calm the rough seas of the teen years, but also provide your teen with critical support and understanding that will promote better decision-making, better mental health, and better outcomes at school.   

Come find out the important ways in which the teen brain is developing. Identify behaviors and attitudes that are influenced by these changes. Then learn to offer constructive strategies for establishing a better understanding of and communication with your amazing teen.

CMAs work with providers mainly in outpatient facilities; they are a critical part of a patient’s care team.

Our CCMA program provides instruction, lab practice, and hands-on training. Externships are completed at the end of the course.

CMA training includes:

•   Administrative and clinical duties
•   Preparing patients for examinations and treatment
•   Updating medical records - EMR
•   Taking and documenting vital signs
•   Routine lab procedures
•   Diagnostic testing, including EKG
•   Basic phlebotomy and the cardiac life cycle
•   Workplace expectations and professionalism
•   Training includes an externship prior to employment

Additional CCMA courses include: Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, and Medical Math.
