Upon successful completion of the  Casas and HiSET Pre-test, students can schedule an appointment to take the HiSET tests.  Testing is done on Fridays.

Do you have questions about parenting? Do you want to improve your parenting skills? Are you overwhelmed? If you answered yes to any of these questions, “Parent Talk” may be for you. Happy Families aren’t born…They’re made one day at a time. Through this video-based program, you will learn the skills that will help you develop cooperation, responsibility and self-esteem in your children, and encourage your children to be their very BEST! You’ll also learn positive discipline techniques so you can avoid those all too familiar power struggles. You will be receiving an Active Parenting Certificate upon completion of this course.

In this class, especially designed for adults with learning challenges, students will enhance everyday life skills by improving their basic reading, writing, and problem-solving proficiencies.

Because of COVID-19 restrictions, this semester the class will be reduced to one day per week.

Learners set their own individualized goals and work toward them in a safe, nurturing, and creative environment. Contact the Adult Education office for additional information.

Are you someone in the community who is not a native English speaker? Would you like help with English skills? You will learn to speak, read, understand, and write English with more confidence as well as get help speaking with teachers, making appointments and shopping. Language skills necessary to get and hold a job are part of the course as well. Students can enroll and join this free class at any time. Learners of all levels of English proficiency (beginner through advanced) are welcome! For more information, call 873-5754. No class Nov. 11, 25, and 26.
