Fantastic Photo Finishes-Organize & Edit Images with Your iPhone / iPad Photos App (Online)

Most of us take hundreds of photos that languish on our iPhone / iPad or in the cloud. Knowing how to edit images and organize your photos on your iPhone and iPad is essential. Other areas of study include using the tabs in the Photos app – “For You” tab (ready-made slide shows), creating, using, and sharing albums, and the very useful search function.

CLC Adult Education is pleased to partner with BoomerTech Adventures to offer fully asychronous online courses students can complete on their own time and at their own speed. Each course is a PDF booklet with information about the class, instructions for using the class, and the content of the class (videos and articles). The three instructors provide personalized support for each class via email and / or online chat. The recommended time for each course is one month with 1 to 2 hours of work a week. Tech requirements for each course are a strong internet connection (or access to one) and a computer, or tablet, or smartphone to access videos and articles.

Apr 19, 2-4 PM - Google Drive & Google Docs - The basics of creating online, collaborative documents, spreadsheets, and slide presentations, and storing and sharing files with Google Drive. May 24, 2-4 PM - Spreadsheet Basics: Spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets help you organize information and create documents like budgets, schedules, and lists. Learn the basics of setting up a spreadsheet and using formulas in this beginner-level class.

Adobe InDesign is the industry standard page-layout program that works with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop seamlessly. Software Requirements: 

For all online Adobe classes, students are responsible for purchasing their own software for their course. Trial versions of Adobe software are sometimes available on the Adobe company website.  If you're taking the entire “Graphic Design certificate” you'll need Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign.
