Introduction to Google Drive & Google Docs

Two of the great benefits to your Google account are Google Drive and Google Docs. Google Drive is free cloud storage and Google Docs is Google’s free alternative to MS Word. In this class you will learn how to store and manage your files online as well as use the Google Docs platform where you can create stunning documents.
This class requires a device connected to the internet and an active Gmail account. It will be held at RSU 13 Adult and Community Education in the McLain School at 28 Lincoln St., Rockland, ME 04841.

COMPUTER LITERACY FOR ADULTS & SENIORS, Session 2

iPad Intermediate

Building on the skills that are acquired in the iPad Basics class, the primary focus of the intermediate class is the exploration of the applications that Apple provides for free as part of the iOS. Applications such as Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Messages, FaceTime and many others will be covered. If time allows, favorite Apps from the App Store will be presented. There are three one-hour sessions for this class.
Prerequisite for this class is participation in the iPad Basics class or equivalent knowledge.
Please bring your iPad to all three classes.

This course is the extension of the MacOS Basics class. The intermediate class covers in greater detail how to customize your Mac to better suit your work and personal style. System preferences are covered in greater detail which includes the ability to create user accounts for each member of the family.
