Quickbooks - Advanced topics

During the two sessions, you will learn how to create jobs, budgets, groups, memorized lists, custom reports, custom lists, general journal entries, export and import data between the Online and Desktop versions, and merge customers and vendors. For this workshop, you can sign up for a year of QB online at no cost by using a school email account. This will be arranged by the program.

SketchUp for Woodworking -March 2024

Learn to use the free version of SketchUp 3D modeling software to create a computer model for a woodworking project. Starting with a finished bat house, students use reverse engineering methods to create a 3D model, review and inspect the model’s parts, components, fixtures, and the general carpentry space. Craft the design and drawings with the SketchUp Free version available at sketchup.com/plans-and-pricing/sketchup-free. Learn to change and evaluate your designs, determine material needs, minimize waste, and create and update drawings.This class is open to all woodworking levels. Students must obtain an account with Trimble Software and access to web-based SketchUp Free, and review/complete the SketchUp Free tutorial video at: https://youtu.be/sQSyofKyKIQ. You will also need your own safety glasses, hearing protection, lightweight work gloves, pencils, white artists eraser, and closed toe shoes. A windows-based laptop and clickable mouse will be provided for in-class work.

This course focuses on mas-tering the fundamentals of Excel. You will learn how to:

- Use common formulas and functions
- Sort and analyze data
- Create custom charts and graphs
You will also learn about compatibility with other MS OfficeSuite products. Learners are required to bring a thumb drive toclass. There is no class on April 17.
