Topics in College Algebra

This course meets for a semester on Wednesday evenings at the Brewer Community Center from 5 pm to 8 pm. Office hours from 5 pm to 6:30 pm, are set aside for individual help and support. Class instruction is from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Each week a college algebra topic is introduced, discussed and practiced to help students prepare for post secondary math courses. This class is also available asynchronously if students are unable to travel to the in person sessions or have scheduling issues. Topics in Math Fundamentals

This course meets for a semester on Tuesday evenings at the Brewer Community Center from 5 pm to 8 pm. Office hours from 5 pm to 6:30 pm, are set aside for individual help and support. Class instruction is from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Each week a pre-algebra concept is introduced, discussed and practiced to help students prepare for engaging in algebra math courses. This class is also available asynchronously if students are unable to travel to the in person sessions or have scheduling issues.

If your thinking about a new career or transitioning to a different career, meet with us and take the WOWI career Assessment; you can take it at our center or at home.
The World of Work Inventory combines career interests, skills/strengths, and your work style into one assessment.
After taking the assessment, meet with a trained advisor to discuss the results. Together you can work on a plan to continue moving towards a career thats right for you. It might include researching careers, training, and education, meeting with professionals in the field, or applying to new jobs.

After you take the assessment, a trained WOWI® professional will interpret the results with you. You will then meet one-on-one and find out what job(s) you are best suited for. Together we will assess, explore and plan your future!
