20-week, in-depth medical coding for CPC certification through AAPC.  This program is designed to teach all aspects of medical coding, provide you with the skills needed to become nationally certified and get into the job market as a Certified Professional Coder.  This certificate program includes Medical Terminology, Anatomy and physiology, Step-by-step coding, CPC-A exam, AAPC membership, 3 practice CPC tests, and all books.  Basic computer skills are required. 

Online only with Live One-on-One sessions with the instructor through Zoom twice weekly.

Discover your style of leadership.  Discuss task completion, building relationships with your subordinates, becoming socially perceptive to changes in the workplace, utilizing your emotions in a positive and effective manner, and addressing challenging goals.   Then learn the unspoken secrets that leaders know and the strategies they employ/exhibit in for influencing others. Leadership skills are acquired and learned. 

You can become a leader if you know the do’s and don’ts; what to say, what not to say; what to do, what not to do.   At the end of completing the three course certificate, you will come away with a new understanding, new toolbox of leadership skills, and the information to move your leadership development into high gear.

Allinclusive 16-week certification course: Medical Assistants are responsible for a variety of medical office tasks from administrative to technical and scientific duties and must have quality human relations skills. Some of the job duties include cleaning and dressing wounds, taking blood samples, administering medications, taking vitals, preparing a patient for EKGs, obtaining a patient’s history, and assisting physicians during examinations.

Our program provides virtual reality-style classroom work as well as traditional-style teaching for a blended learning experience. Practicals are performed during the program to ensure that the student has proper techniques and will be ready to pass the National Certification. Upon completion of the program, you will sit for your CCMA (Clinical Certified Medical Assistant) national certification exams through NHA. $3200 includes national certification, 6 practice exams, online study guide materials, books, resume assistance, and all other associated fees. Externships may be available in your area. Payment plans are available through the Academy of Medical Professions.

•Medical Administrative Assistant- 16 Weeks. Classes are held once a week for 2 hours via Zoom and are recorded. You may choose to attend the course Live via Zoom or Self-paced by watching the recorded classes; both program options have instructor support. You will learn HIPAA compliance and health information in the medical office, insurance and billing procedures, financial and practice management, and administrative duties. In addition, we take you through the “virtual medical office” which gives you the opportunity to practice “real” medical office skills before entering the workforce. All books, virtual materials, and CMAA Exam Fees are included. $3,200.

•Medical Administrative Professional Program- 36 Weeks. This course track combines two programs: Medical Administrative Assistant with Billing, as well as Medical Coding with CPC-A, leaving you with 2 national certifications. It also includes our programs at a discounted rate. The Medical Professional courses are designed to be completed one after the other; course timing will be coordinated with you by our Education Advisors. Both programs offer Live Classes via Zoom and Self-Paced options; you may mix and match. This course includes all resources, books, and exam fees for both the Medical Administrative Assistant with Billing and the Medical Coding with CPC-A. 16-week all-inclusive National Certification course with Billing Certificate.  This course provides practical real-world skills essential for success in the healthcare field and is entirely online.  You will learn Medical Terminology, Medical Front Office Skills, Electronic Medical Records (Boot Camp), and Medical Billing.  This Certificate Program includes the CMAA (Certified Medical Administrative Assistant).  Certification exam through the National Healthcare Association (NHA) and Billing Certificate from the Academy. 

$3,200 includes National Certification, all books, fees, and resume and job assistance.

Prepare for college statistics with our unique online course! Get a head start on learning the terms, symbols, and graphing calculator. This online course is for students who have placed into college statistics or those who are retaking the class.

Class will meet weekly on Zoom. Delayed viewing is available on an individual basis. Students will need a laptop, tablet or desktop (not a phone) with a camera and microphone, as well as high speed internet. Ideally, students will either have a TI-83 or 84 calculator to use or online statistical software. Outside homework will be given: expect 2-3 hours of homework a week outside of class. Students need recent assessment scores, which can be taken with us. No class April 16, 2024.
