Many of our students have families, part-time or low-wage jobs, transportation issues, and of course many financial challenges.

SCAE students attending academic classes do not pay registration fees for our classes. They do have to pay minimal materials and/or book fees which average about $45 per 60-hour class.  

We strive to keep costs down, but sometimes our students can’t afford this.  Your donation will help students with these unique challenges an opportunity to focus on their studies and not the finances.  Every donation, no matter the amount, is appreciated.  Disbursements from this fund are approved by the Administrators of SCAE on the basis of need.

Calendar Sep 11, 2018 at 6 pm, runs for 15 weeks
This class will introduce you to the basics of accounting - debits and credits. You will learn to use ledgers, journals, balance sheets, income statements, and spreadsheets. You will need a 3-ring binder, pencil/pen, and calculator for this class. Storm make-up will be Dec. 19. Classes will be held on Early Release days, Sept. 18 and Dec. 11. Limit 10 students.

Calendar Sep 3, 2018 , runs for 15 weeks
Students passing this class earn one high school credit. The course foundation is delivered via Odysseyware and may be supplemented with pre-alg units via in online learning or taught directly by the teacher as needed.

Computer and Internet and ability to come meet the teacher on a weekly basis. CASAS (assessment) math score of 240+ or willingness to remediate immediately. Dates and Times can be flexible. No fee if the student is enrolled in the HiSET or diploma program. Please register by calling us instead.
