Adult Learning Center - HiSet® Test Prep The Tests of the High School Equivalency Test (HiSet® Tests) are designed to measure the skills and knowledge equivalent to a high school course of study. The five subject area tests which comprise the HiSet® test battery are Mathematics; Language Arts Reading; Language Arts Writing (including essay); Science; and Social Studies.

The HiSet® preparation class is open to individuals 17 years or older who are not attending high school. Individualized instruction is provided as preparation for the 5-part High School Equivalency test that leads to a high school equivalency certificate. Testing accommodations are available for individuals with documented learning disabilities.
