Pharmacy Technician is one of the fastest growing jobs in health care today. In this course, you will learn everything from the role of the technician in the pharmacy setting, to the basic sciences at the core of pharmacy practice, to preparing for the PTCB exam. You will learn complete drug information that includes proper name, spelling and pronunciation, drug class, generic and trade name, route of administration, dosage and more of hundreds of drugs. You will be able to identify pills on sight with pill photos, gain a better understanding of how certain drugs work within the body with a concise review of relevant anatomy and physiology, and stay up to date with innovative pharmacy practice with the latest information on new drugs, regulations, HIPAA guidelines and safety procedures. This Certificate Program includes all course materials and PTCB National Certification (CPhT) Exam fee.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be helping the Licensed Pharmacist with all the necessary day-to-day services that the Pharmacy provides. Everything from preparing medications to answering phones, receiving and verifying prescriptions, counting tablets, taking requests for refilling of medications, and much more. You are an assistant to the pharmacist.

However, once registered, there is a cost of $2,850 to enroll in the class itself.

This program is designed to teach all aspects of dental assisting and provide you with the skills you need to work in this field and pass a national certificate exam. This program is taught by a Dentist and includes an opportunity for internships. We now offer an option for Lab days, please ask for more details! The price of the course includes all books, exam preparation materials and fees for the DANB RHS® certificate program. Upon passing the DANB RHS®, you will receive a certificate of knowledge based on competency for that component from DANB.

Who is a Dental Assistant?
The purpose of this course is to gain background knowledge and vocabulary for an entry level position in the clinical or administrative dental setting. Learning media provide specific insight into preclinical and clinical areas of dental assisting, reviewing chapter content and the application of content. Chapters include professional and legal aspects of dental assisting, anatomy and physiology, dental anatomy, infection control and hazardous materials, dental treatment, patient care, dental imaging, preventative dentistry, restorative dentistry, and specialized dentistry. Students will be given the building blocks for DANB RHS content certifications, and access to materials to prepare for this exam. Resume writing (including updated personal resume) and professional development are required for graduation. During each week of our 10-week program we assist the student to build the confidence, skills, and knowledge to assist the dentist and be a valuable member of the dental healthcare team. Each week of the course covers a different area of dental practice, allowing students to grasp the material in manageable chunks. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The 130 hour Certified Nursing Assistant Course is designed to prepare the student to be a Nursing Assistant.
