This Maine State Certified course includes 120 hours of classroom instruction plus 80 hours of clinical practice at local health care facilities. Requirements include a reading test, interview session, physical within the last year, immunization records, and dedication to a 15 week commitment. Tuition is $850 plus fees below. Learn to use MS PowerPoint to create presentations and other useful documents. The course will cover planning, formatting, and inserting pictures and other objects. Course will also cover incorporating MS PowerPoint with MS Word and MS Excel. Students should have a comfortable familiarity with the other programs (Word & Excel) or register for the series of classes.

Calendar Feb 12, 2018 at 5 pm, runs for 3 weeks

This is a series of courses covering the basic computer office skills. The first module deals with word processing using MS Word 2010. The second covers spreadsheets and numbers-based documents using Excel 2010. The third module covers organizing presentations and visual-based documents with MS PowerPoint 2010 as well as the capabilities of using the programs together. Take all three modules and save $50. May also be eligible for .5 diploma credit. Registration fee for all modules is $75 plus $10 lab fee.

Microsoft Excel - Spreadsheets

This Level 1 basic arc welding (stick) course is designed for the hobbyist as well as those who plan on entering the welding profession. Class topics include welding safety, electrode classification, machine setup, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) technique and trouble shooting. Students learn the proper technique for welding fillets using various types of electrodes. Diploma credit available.

Safety glasses with sides, long-cuff leather welding gloves, and safety shoes.
