Students will complete preparation activities in the five areas of the HiSET® exam; writing, literature, science, math and social studies. The curriculum in this class is catered towards the individuals needs. Students are given the opportunity to work at their own pace. Must be at least 17 years old to take the HISET itself and need an ID. Call our office to set up an appointment: 207-377-2265
College & Career Advising

Are you thinking about making a change in your job or career? Are you considering going back to school to further your training or education, but are not sure of your options? Our college and career advisor can meet with you to complete career assessments, explore options that fit your needs, and make a plan to help you reach your goal. Get side by side support with applying for financial aid and scholarships, placement in workforce training programs, resume writing, and interview skills. Additionally, basic Math, Algebra, and English courses are available, if needed, to help you improve your core skills. We’re here to assist you with your transition to a new job or training program.

This class is the first step to register for our high school completion program. Find out if HiSET(formerely GED) is a good fit for you, or is an adult education diploma a better option?
Come meet with our staff, learn what can be accomplished at RSU13 Adult & Community Education, and complete the registration paperwork needed to begin a learning program.
At the end of the Info & Enrollment Session, students will receive next steps to begin their academic program of choice.
High School Diploma Completion

Pick up where you left off in school! Students who only need a handful of credits to complete their high school diploma can do so through RSU 13 Adult and Community Education!
Adults may earn an RSU 13 High School Diploma by taking our credit courses to supplement previous high school courses. We will analyze your most recent high school transcript and develop a learning plan to help you earn your diploma.
HiSET (GED) Prep (Math)
