Math is everywhere.  Gain an in-depth understanding of algebraic formulas, geometry principles or basic math concepts.  Learn how to use them to solve problems that you encounter in everyday life.  A traditional class presented in a new and interesting way.  Earn 1.0 credit in one of these math subject areas.

Non-registered student fee is $99.  Academic courses are free to all registered Adult Education students.  Convenient day and evening hours are available.  Courses qualify for 1.0 credit and are designed for those needing additional diploma credits or assistance for college prep.

Students will review basic math facts and operations, as well as learn mathematics vocabulary. Students will be able to apply the four basic mathematic operations. Percent, measurement, formulas, equations, ratio and proportion will also be covered. Homework will be assigned.

This activity-oriented class deals with the study of life.  All major biological concepts including cells, genetics, reproduction, evolution, plants, invertebrates, vertebrae animals along with human Biolgoy will be explored.  Biology with lab is a fast paced offering that will satisfy requirements for most post-secondary schools including those in the medical field.

Utilizing an on-line curriculum from Odysseyware, students can earn high school credit in core courses as well as electives. Odysseyware is an on-line curriculum which has on-line and off-line activities as well. Courses are divided into 10,12, or 13 units and then lessons within those units. At the end of each unit is a test intended to show mastery of that unit. This program is available to students outside of class time through the Internet. With Odysseyware and individualized class time, and on-line learning, the possibilities are endless.
