Registration for this class is free, meaning there is no fee to sign up for this course.  However, once registered, there is a cost of $3,750 to enroll in the class.  This registration doesn't secure your spot in the class.  Your registration details are necessary for SCAE to forward to American Medical Professionals.  Payments go directly to American Medical Professionals.  They offer multiple payment methods.

After signing up for the class, you'll receive a packet to fill out and send directly to American Medical Professionals.  Once you have filled out the paperwork and the requested information, Academy of Medical Professionals will contact you to complete your registration process.

An all-inclusive 16-week program that includes in-person skills labs and live via Zoom class meetings (Tuesdays) and in-person skills labs (starting after week 4 on Thursdays) that prepare you to pass the National Certification.  Upon completing the program, you will sit for your CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) national certification exam through NHA. 

$3,750 includes National Certification, 6 practice exams, online study materials, books, resume assistance, and all other associated fees.  Externships may be available in your area.  Payment plans are available.

June 17, 2025 class runs through September 30, 2025.

Become nationally certified in 10 weeks as a phlebotomy technician. Our course is all-inclusive and prepares you for national certification with live classes via Zoom and in-person skills labs. You will be able to perform basic phlebotomy procedures, evaluate patients for ability to withstand venipuncture procedure, explain the procedure and answer patient questions, perform basic point of care testing, such as blood glucose levels on patients, prepare blood, urine, and other body fluid specimens for testing according to established standards. Tuition includes Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) national certification through NHA, books, resume and job assistance. This is an online course.  This class can be taken anytime, anywhere.  All classes are pre-recorded for you to take at your own pace.  You still have instructor support for this self-paced class.

Classes are held once a week for 2 hours via Zoom and are recorded. You may choose to attend the course Live via Zoom or Self-paced by watching the recorded classes; both program options have instructor support. You will learn HIPAA compliance and health information in the medical office, insurance and billing procedures, financial and practice management, and administrative duties. In addition, we take you through the “virtual medical office” which allows you to practice “real” medical office skills before entering the workforce.

CRMAs are in high demand!

Receive standardized training for professionals working in state-certified residential care homes. State of Maine regulations, standard residential facility policies, and basic anatomy and physiology are covered. Discuss medications, safe administration procedures, practice taking vital signs, transcribing physician orders, and documenting procedures on the Medication Administration Record per Maine's regulations governing residential facilities. In addition, students must complete a Clinical Medication Administration of three medication passes for three different residents with 100% accuracy. Full certification and medication pass awarded on successful completion with 40 hours of attendance, no exceptions. Participants must be 18 or older. High school credentials and background checks are not required. However, a reading/comprehension level of English at a 10th grade or better level is required. Handbook included. Course fee is nonrefundable. Payment plans available for qualified applicants. Bring a 1.5-inch 3-ring binder. $125-$150 fee for medication pass payable to the instructor at your scheduled test.

Prerequisite: CASAS testing, with a score of 240 or better, is required to complete enrollment. No exceptions. Appointments available at our Saco Learning Center on Tuesday, 10/2, 11 AM or Thursday, 10/10, 2 PM. Please let us know at registration which date/time will work best for you.
