Achieve additional academic knowledge asnd skills required to pursue a full range of career, secondary and post-secondary opportunities. This course helps students prepare for and complete required training, education, and certification necessary for employment.
Instruction emphasizes language arts and math skills. If you are preparing to take the high school equivalency test (HiSET), working on a traditional high school diploma, or studying to improve CASAS scores, this class is for you.
English Lab

Increase your skills in reading and vocabulary development. Lessons will meet students needs to read more difficult materials needed for workforce advancement, and the HiSET, ASVAB, and Acuplacer assessments.

Community Gardening

Community Gardening is a place to bring together students, staff, and community members with the mission of growing empathy through gardening. Transforming an outdoor space for learning, hands-on exploration and all types of gardening activities that will attract interest from a beginner to the novice gardener.
Community Partners will support the outdoor educational components of Community Gardening. Come prepare to get your hands dirty and your knees wet at least for the first few weeks. We will be discussing companion gardening, learning about the importance of pollinators, and journaling about our five senses.
