This is an online course.  This class can be taken anytime, anywhere.  All classes are pre-recorded for you to take at your own pace.  You still have instructor support for this self-paced class.

Registration for this class is free, meaning there is no fee to sign up for the course.  However, once registered, there is a cost of $3,200 to enroll in the class.  Your registration doesn't secure your spot in the class.  Your registration details are necessary for SCAE to forward to American Medical Professions.  Payments go directly to American Medical Professions.  They offer multiple payment methods.

After signing up for the class, you'll receive a packet to fill out and send directly to American Medical Professions.  Once you have completed the paperwork and the requested information, the Academy of Medical Professions will contact you to complete your registration process.

Classes are held once a week for 2 hours via Zoom and are recorded. You may choose to attend the course Live via Zoom or Self-paced by watching the recorded classes; both program options have instructor support. You will learn HIPAA compliance and health information in the medical office, insurance and billing procedures, financial and practice management, and administrative duties. In addition, we take you through the “virtual medical office” which allows you to practice “real” medical office skills before entering the workforce.

$3,200 includes National Certification, all books, fees, and resume and job assistance.

Scholarships can go a long way in helping students cover college costs but being successful in the scholarship application process can take some work. In this session, you’ll learn to build and work your own scholarship application plan. You’ll also learn about and try out different scholarship websites, learn how to best use a scholarship information tracker, and learn to avoid some of the challenges of the scholarship process. In this course, you will learn how to post journal entries to the correct general ledger accounts impacted by each transaction. This course will show you how to make sure your general ledger balances at the end of each month by preparing an unadjusted trial balance.
