Medical Transcription Certificate Program
with Academy of Medical Professions, Noble Adult & Community Education
Medical transcription is a desired field for most people trying to work at home. Strong typing (minimum of 80 WPM), computer, and English grammar skills are essential. Medicalterminology, formats, rules and regulations, jobs, calculation of pay, confidentiality, tricks of the trade, allequipment, and course books are provided with the course fee. The program is 16 weeks to 6 monthsdepending on the student’s choice of breaking up the program.
This is a State Certified Program and you will receive a Certificate of Completion upon graduation; resumes and how to obtain a job are covered inthis program. Course includes medical terminology, Anatomy & physiology and transcription.

Introduction to Microsoft Excel 2019/Office 365
This course focuses on the fundamentals of Excel 2019. You will first learn how to quickly and efficiently create fully formatted worksheets. You will then learn common formulas and functions, sorting and analyzing data, custom charts and graphs, and how to create three-dimensional workbooks. This course also introduces you to Quick Analysis, Flash Fill, and other powerful charting tools, which are further explored in the intermediate course.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel 2019/Office 365
This course builds on the fundamental techniques you learned in the introductory Excel 2019 course. You will master charting and then learn more of Excel's time-saving features like PivotTables, Slicers, and Sparklines. You will learn how to harness the power of Excel's data analysis tools and AutoFilter commands to create macros that eliminate repetitive tasks. Set yourself apart from the casual Excel user by adding VLOOKUP, INDEX & MATCH, and Excel's other time-saving functions to your repertoire.
Advanced Microsoft Excel 2019/Office 365
This course will help you make the most of your investment in Microsoft Excel 2019. You will master advanced features that most users don't even know exist, such as scenarios and data tables to perform what-if data analysis. You will learn advanced techniques for PivotTables, conditional formatting to highlight duplicate entries, and importing external data using Excel's built-in Power Query tool. By the time you finish this course, you will know all the possible features and functions of Microsoft's powerful spreadsheet software.

CLC Adult Education is pleased to partner with BoomerTech Adventures to offer fully asychronous online courses students can complete on their own time and at their own speed. Each course is a PDF booklet with information about the class, instructions for using the class, and the content of the class (videos and articles). The three instructors provide personalized support for each class via email and / or online chat. The recommended time for each course is one month with 1 to 2 hours of work a week.Tech requirements for each course are a strong internet connection (or access to one) and a computer, or tablet, or smartphone to access videos and articles.
