MUSIC AS A SECOND LANGUAGE 101

None of us are born into families where music is the first language, but it is a second language! Do you want to learn how to read, speak or write music? This class will teach how to read music pitches in both treble and bass clefs as well as rhythm. You will be able to pick out a simple melody on a keyboard by sight-reading the music, as well as sight-sing a simple tune.
SMALL ENGINE HOME MAINTENANCE
with Jim Prescott, Franklin County Adult Education
This course offers information and simple services, that you can do yourself, for preventative maintenane of small engines. The instructor will discuss carbonation, fuels, and other related topics for home repair. He will assist you with personal projects that you bring to class.

BEGINNING FLY TYING

This course is designed for the beginner but is open to all skill levels. Each week you will learn at least 2 different fly patterns and usually there is enough time during class to tie at least 3 flies of each pattern.
