The Personal Support Specialist (PSS) workforce training program equips individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to provide compassionate, non-medical care to individuals in home or healthcare settings. This program focuses on essential topics such as personal care, infection control, communication, and safety, preparing participants to assist clients with daily living activities while maintaining their dignity and independence. Upon completion, graduates are qualified to work as PSS professionals, playing a vital role in supporting the well-being of individuals in need of care. Minimum CASAS score of 220 required.
Class meets on the following dates: 1/21 3-8pm, 1/22 3-8pm, 1/27 3-8pm, 1/28 3-8pm, 1/29 3-7pm, 2/3 3-8pm, 2/5 3-7pm, 2/6 3-6pm, 2/10 3-8pm, 2/11 3-8pm, 2/12 3-7pm
