Self care is as easy as PIES!

with Annette Hurman, Wells-Ogunquit Adult Community Education

$50

Self‑care doesn’t have to be complicated — it can be as easy as P.I.E.S.$50pp    This course introduces a practical, holistic approach to personal well‑being through four core dimensions: Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, and Social/Spiritual care. Designed for busy people who want meaningful change without overwhelm, the program blends reflection, science‑based strategies, and real‑world application.

Participants will learn how to recognize their needs, build sustainable habits, and create a personalized self‑care plan that supports resilience, balance, and overall quality of life. Through interactive activities, guided exercises, and supportive discussion, learners will explore how small, intentional actions can lead to lasting improvement in health, mood, and daily functioning.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Understand the P.I.E.S. framework and how each dimension contributes to well‑being

Identify personal strengths and gaps in their current self‑care practices

Develop simple, realistic routines that fit their lifestyle

Use practical tools to manage stress, boost energy, and maintain emotional balance

Build healthy, meaningful connections that support long‑term wellness

This course is ideal for anyone seeking a grounded, approachable path to self‑care — whether you’re just beginning your wellness journey or looking to refresh your habits with a more intentional, whole‑person approach.
