Lotions and Scrubs

Looking for a great handmade gift to give or something special for yourself! Learn how to make handmade lotions and sugar or salt scrubs for a fraction of what you would pay at the store. Each person will make a personalized salt and sugar scrub, and a 12oz bottle of lotion. Each student should bring 2 eight oz. jars and a a 16 oz for their creations. Your instructor will provide all the ingredients for lotions and scrubs including scents to pick from.

Have you ever wanted to take a dance class that focuses more on play, embodiment, and creation, than following steps? Then this is the class for you! Every week we will focus on a different theme, class will begin with a warm-up, then we will more on to exploration, creation, and then cool down. We will end our six weeks with a community performance, which we have created.

We will focus on health and wellness for you and your baby through physical Yoga poses, as well as mindful mediation and breathing excercises. Prenatal Yoga will help nuture you and your baby in the best ways during your pregnancy. This class is designed for people that are entirely new to Yoga, or those who have been practicing it for years. Please bring your own mat, wear comfortable clothes, and a water bottle.
Beautiful You, Color and Clothing

Have you ever noticed when you are wearing certain colors people comment on your looks? Learn how to look healthier and more attractive by dressing for your eye, hair, skin coloring as well as your face shape. Students will be draped in colors to demostrate how choosing the right shades impacts their apperance. Students will determine their face shape and learn how to choose flattering glasses, hairstyles, and necklines for their features. Candance Sanborn of Radiant Image has 30 years experience of business branding. Believing people have brands she has transferred her expertise in 2019 to work with individuals, helping them to understand what goes into developing a personal brand and how it can help them achieve greater self esteem and the results they want in career and life.

Enjoy a night of Chinese cooking. In this class we will make a healthy, authentic Chinese meal. Angela is the owner of Jyang-Lee kitchens and Uncle Fans sauces. She is also very popular at midcoast farmers markets for her crab rangoons, dumplings, eggrolls, and sesame noodles. There is a 10.00 lab fee to be paid to the instructor the night of class. There will be take home!!!
Card Making Made Easy - Session 1

These cards are all hand made from the heart-one you’d be proud to give to anyone. You will never need to go to the store and buy another Birthday, Anniversary or Get-well card, etc. In this class students will learn how to create and design their own cards using new decorating techniques, finishes and additional embellishments. The first Thursday of each month, students will complete a minimum of 3-5 cards each session. Come join a fun filled evening and learn how to make beautiful homemade cards. There will be a door prize each session. All supplies are provided. Students must pay lab fee of four dollars to the instructor on the first night of class. Thirty dollars for all three sessions or 12.00 for one. Lab fee must to paid to instructor, please do not include it in your registration.Lab fee - $4
Requirements / Prerequisites

In this class we will discuss what to look for when purchasing a router, also some of the joinery cuts with a router such as dados, groves, rabbits, and dovetails. We will also cover router safety. Safety glasses are a requirment and can be purchased at Ricks shop for 2.00$ All material needed will be supplied. * This is a two sessions, two classes in each session, session1- Wed. March 18th and 25th, session 2- Monday April 1st and april 30th. Please specify which session when you register.
