If you, or someone you know, have difficulty reading or need some review with basic math, we can help. Classes are open to anyone 17 years of age and over. There is no fee for this course, and it can make a difference!

We will examine what has changed from the mid-70's to now in Maine.   Peirce wrote about the People, Power, and Politics of the time for every region and state in the nation.His book on New England was published in 1976. There will be an 8 page handout and visuals to aid in the presentation. This is a lecture and class discussion .  Your instructor Jerry teaches at UMA Senior College.

How do colleges really choose students?   High school students and adults and parents will learn about the many factors college admissions officers consider when choosing applicants.  This interactive workshop will demonstrate the role essays, interviews, grades and other factors play in the admission decisions colleges make. Wendy spent twelve years on the Bowdoin college Admissions staff, where she evaluated thousands of applications and conducted hundreds of interviews.
