This class will cover a wide range of topics including and overview of the financial aid process, filing the FAFSA, and looking for scholarships. We will also review money managment while you are attending higher education. Also covered are specifics on student loans, and loan forgiveness options for educators.

The College Admission Process

How do colleges really choose students? High school students and adults and parents will learn about the many factors college admissions officers consider when choosing applicants. This interactive workshop will demonstrate the role essays, interviews, grades and other factors play in the admission decisions colleges make. Wendy spent twelve years on the Bowdoin college Admissions staff, where she evaluated thousands of applications and conducted hundreds of interviews.
