Hit the trails with confidence. This beginner-friendly hiking course is designed for anyone who wants to explore the outdoors but doesn't know where to start. Whether you're looking for exercise, scenic views, or a chance to connect with nature, this course will equip you with the essential knowledge and skills to embark on safe and enjoyable hikes. Skills you will learn: gear selection, the 10 essentials, trail navigation and map reading, Leave No Trace principles, and safe hiking practices. Each week will be going on hikes to gain practical experience on a variety of trails and build confidence and endurance in a supportive environment. Are you interested? We will be hiking every week! Please wear the proper foot wear.
