About Sue: Susan is an artist who lived many years in France studying the Impressionists' painting methods (Renoir, Monet, Gauguin, Van Gogh, Cezanne, Pissarro, Picasso and Matisse). She teaches how to apply their techniques in easy to learn steps for beginners and intermediate painters as part of regular classes held at the adult ed department for enhanced learning.

Music selections include both fast and slow rhythms to help tone and sculpt the body. Class feels more like a dance party than a workout. About Barbara: Barbara has been a ballroom dancer and instructor for most of her adult life. She is also a licensed Zumba instructor certified to teach Zumba, Zumba Toning, and Zumba Gold. She just celebrated her 10-year Zumba anniversary. Barbara has been teaching Zumba classes at MSAD#6 since 2014.

Fusing the best of pilates, yoga & aerobics, Barre delivers a results-driven workout that is not only fun and dynamic, but will increase muscular endurance. This is a full-body workout that is also low impact with a focus on flexibility, balance, stability and strength. We end class with a gentle yoga cool down sequence. No dance background required! Please bring a yoga mat to class. No class on Memorial Day 5/27.

About Jillene: Jillene Jones is the owner of Pure Prana Yoga and has been a Registered Yoga Teacher since 2012. Her classes focus on creative breath and body awareness and fusing a wide variety of yoga styles into her program. She also uses modifications as needed for student skill and comfort levels. Jillene has been trained in a number of meditation techniques, Yin Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Iyengar Based Yoga, restorative Yoga, Adaptive Yoga, Prenatal Yoga and Yoga Nidra. In addition to her yoga training, Jillene is a certified Buti Yoga, Hotcore, Barre Above, Balletone and Fitness instructor as well as a Reiki Master.

The earlier you start, the more confident and relaxed you will feel when it is time to apply for financial aid. Join us for this one-hour workshop as we talk about paying for college. Note: FAME will send all participants a link to the Zoom meeting prior to the start date.

FAME administers Maine’s higher education finance programs. Through a variety of loan, grant and scholarship programs, FAME helps Maine students and families meet the costs associated with higher education.
