Looking for a new job, a promotion, or a career change? Sharpen your resume and your interview skills. Carrie will not only show you what a resume should look like, but also what it should say. She will walk you through the creation of the most common sections found on resumes in today’s job market. She’ll also help you prepare for an interview. About Carrie: Carrie is a native Mainer and attended school through the BE school district and still lives in the local area. She works as a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant at Unum and has been with the company for over twenty years. She attended SMCC, USM and University of WI Stout obtaining a Masters degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Clinical Counseling, and Alcohol and Drug Counseling. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and all their amazing animals. She also loves being outdoors, hiking and running.

Do you have children who will be looking at college in the next few years or might you be thinking of returning to school yourself? Now is a great time to start thinking about the financial aid process and ways to boost college savings. The earlier you start, the more confident and relaxed you will feel when it is time to apply for financial aid. Join us for this one-hour workshop as we talk about paying for college. Note: FAME will send all participants a link to the Zoom meeting prior to the start date.

FAME administers Maine’s higher education finance programs. Through a variety of loan, grant and scholarship programs, FAME helps Maine students and families meet the costs associated with higher education.
