This teacher professional development course will teach you about the varied needs of educationally disadvantaged and at-risk students in your classroom. Your students come to you with a diverse set of needs, and you will need to implement strategies that help support each student's success in your classroom. You will analyze Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, consider the needs of your own students, and then work to evaluate and implement strategies for support in your classroom.
